AGREE Multi-Axis Chambers (Combined)

IMV’s combined environment chambers can be paired with an associated multi-axis shaker system - either from IMV, or another vendor. Multi-axis shakers are typically made up of 2 or 3 individual shakers that can control movement in the three orthogonal axis independently or simultaneously. It’s the very best of combined environment test systems and is often used for aerospace, automotive and defence testing.

The total test time can be significantly reduced by running multi-axis shakers with AGREE chambers - the acceleration factors attained for triaxial shaking along with temperature and humidity cycling are large. For component qualification tests such as those required in the space industry there’s really no faster way to test. Reduced Installation Space

The tri-axial electrodynamic shaker removes the need for the chamber to be moved to cover the orthogonal axis. This reduces the footprint required for the test system, even though the performance and acceleration factor is higher.

Chambers can still be made with rolling support should the customer want a standalone chamber option.

Access is often a concern with AGREE chambers - how can you work on the sample without reaching into an awkward position? IMV’s design engineers have creative ways of achieving this.

 

Advanced AGREE control system

IMV’s integrated system controller allows for remote control and monitoring of the entire system. This includes the vibration controller, amplifier, ISM efficiency system and test chamber in one location.

Cameras can be integrated into the online control system to allow for remote specimen monitoring.

The IMV K2+ controller includes four output channels in its default configuration, truely supporting multi-axis shaking from the get-go.

 

IMV K2+ Controller

IMV’s K2+ controller supports up to 4 control outputs per card and has multi-axis control built in. Optional software extends the capabilities to run multiple shaker units over a large footprint, without compromise control accuracy.

All K2+ hardware and software is developed in-house by IMV Corporation in Japan, and we constantly strive to improve them whilst incorporating the latest technology and customer feedback.

 

Triaxial (&6DOF) Electrodynamic Shaker Options

IMV is the worlds largest electrodynamic shaker manufacturer and has produced more multi-axis systems than any other vendor. The systems are used in a huge variety of applications from earthquake research to automotive & aerospace and rail.

Whether you need sequential multi-axis (one axis per time, but automatically switch between axis) or try simultaneously shaking IMV have a system for all applications. 6 Degree Of Freedom (6DOF) systems are equally well supported by IMV.

Installation, Maintenance & Support

HALT & HASS undertakes training for their Engineers at least annually and often more. Training is provided by IMV’s international support division and covers practical, hands-on maintenance application and fault diagnosis.

Shakers are serviced by our experts who understand the adjustments required to keep your system operating efficiently and as trouble-free as possible.

Installation is conducted by our international team and can include everything from de-crating to rigging and moving equipment before final installation and commissioning.
