Electrodynamic Transport Shaker Systems (IMV C-Series)
The C-Series transport electrodynamic shakers have serious load carrying potential and has been designed to conduct transport testing with a 76.2mm throw. The C10 provides the same load support as the huge A74 74kN shaker. The C-series is designed for specimens where the centre of gravity is either high, or off-centre horizontally. The load support system provides rigid alignment, preventing shaker damage from off-axis vibration loads.
Targeted test methods include the International Safe Transit Authority (ISTA) 2A, 3A and 3E along with ASTM D4167 and related standards. Additionally the shaker can be used for sine “bump” testing where large samples are loaded onto a transport box and exposed to sine dwells causing repeated impacts.
